Reverend Dr. G. Diane Lewis
Reverend Dr. G. Dianne Lewis
is a native of Delaware and is a resident of Atlanta, Georgia. She is a graduate of Delaware State (college) University in Dover, Delaware with a Bachelor or Arts degree in Sociology and Political Science in 1984. She graduated from Turner Theological Seminary in 1997 with a Master of Divinity degree in Psychology of Religion and Pastoral Counseling with a minor in Homiletics and Theology. She received her Doctor of Ministry degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in 2012. In 2014, she completed the Clinical Pastoral Education Residency Program at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, Atlanta, GA and is now a board certified and endorsed Federal Chaplain of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Dr. Lewis has served as a pastor in the African Methodist Episcopal church for over 30 years. She is currently serving as pastor of Wilson Chapel AME Church in Grove Hill, Alabama. She has served in many capacities on the 9th District and in 2021 was elected president of the Connectional AME Church Henry McNeal Chaplain’s Association.
